Money money money: "The government ran a deficit of $281.8 billion in the first seven months of the 2004 budget year, according to the latest snapshot of the nation's balance sheets. "

That total to 480 billion over the course of the year. Which is alot.

It would be nice if this stat:
"For the 2004 budget year that began Oct. 1, spending has totaled $1.35 trillion, 7.5 percent more than the same period a year ago. Revenues came to $1.07 trillion — a 1.3 percent increase from a year ago. "

Could be turned on its head.

My solution. Dump the dpaartment of agriculture and commerce. Cut them loose. Buh Bye.
